Welcome to the Water Environment Federation Webcast program. WEF is dedicated to advancing the professional growth and expertise of its members and the entire water sector.
As a member your investment is returned through the high-quality programming, training, and services that WEF provides to equip water professionals with the latest industry trends, practices, technologies, and solutions. Recommended Professional Development Hours (PDHs) may be earned for participating in a webcast.
Archived webcasts are available to everyone: members at no charge, and non-members at a $40 fee. Additionally, there are several webcasts that are available to everyone for free.
Webcasts are hosted on the WEF Learning Center (learn.wef.org) - both WEF members and non-members can access upcoming and past webcast events there. Click the link on the right to visit the Learning Center.
Open access webcasts on a variety of topics can be accessed by following the 'Open Access Webcasts' link to the right. These webcasts include government affairs and public health updates, as well as a selection of technical webcasts that are freely available.
Please contact [email protected] with any questions.
Continuing Education for Webcast Events
Continuing education credits are issued as PDHs* for many WEF webcasts. For webcasts on the WEF Learning Center, certificates can be obtained after viewing the webcast and are available through the Learning Center platform.
For webcasts not on the Learning Center, certificates of attendance with recommended PDHs may be available depending on the content of the webcast. If certificates are being offered, it will be noted and a link will be provided for attendees to complete a short survey. Once the survey is complete, attendees will be able to download their certificate; they will need to add their name and the amount of credit they qualify for to the certificate. Some states may require a site monitor’s signature as confirmation of attendance. If you do not have a site monitor, you may have your HR representative or supervisor sign this certificate.
Please note: Many states differ in the types and/or numbers of credits they will approve for educational events. Participants are responsible for exploring their state requirements and for ensuring that WEF credits are accepted by their state licensing agency.
*Professional Development Hour (PDH) credits are issued at 1 (one) credit for every session hour and should be assigned correctly on each certificate. Most states will convert the PDH to the locally-approved credit type where applicable.
