Q: Who is eligible to apply for the recognition program?

A:  Public and private water sector utilities of all sizes that can demonstrate achievement of the application requirements are encouraged to apply.  Applicants must have had no major violations of their National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit requirements for the previous year from the date of application.

A: Information regarding applying for the 2023 UotFT program will be available in January 2023.

Q: Is there a cost to apply for recognition? 

A: The Recognition Program is free of cost to participants.

Q: When are the 2023 applications due?

A:  Information regarding applying for the 2023 UotFT program will be available in January 2023.

Q:  What format is required?

Q: Can I include attachments with my application? 

A:  Attachments, including graphics, charts, photos or video will be accepted as part of an application package.  A photograph is requested in the online portion of the application. Videos can not exceed 500 MB. 

Q: When will applicants be informed if they are  selected?

A:  Information regarding applying for the 2023 UotFT program will be available in January 2023.

Q: What recognition will successful applicants receive? 

A: Honorees for 2022 will be recognized at WEFTEC 2022 in New Orleans, LA. Recognized utilities will receive a Certificate of Recognition, and/or a UotFT banner or 2022 flag.
