May 4, 2018 - On May 4th, WEF joined many other conservationalists to send a letter to Senate Agriculture Committee Chairman Pat Roberts (R-KS) and Ranking Member Debbie Stabenow (D-MI) to request full funding for Title II Funding in the next Farm Bill reauthorization.
WEF fully supports preserving full funding for Title II (the Conservation Title) in the Senate Farm Bill.
As the letter to Senate Agriculture Committee leaders states, "Over the years, conservation programs have become important, reliable tools for farmers and ranchers as they strive to make to make good management decisions on their land and water. Evidence of the broad popularity is demonstrated is by the fact that unmet demand for these programs is at an all-time high."
