On Dec. 13, the Rural Community Assistance Program (RCAP) will hold a webinar that will provide an overview of biosolids handling and disposal techniques for operators, technical assistance providers, and regulatory personnel to familiarize them with the various technologies and processes employed in the handling and disposal of biosolids.  In addition, the 1.5 hours webinar will discuss and evaluate various techniques and methods of biosolids handling to help control cost and increase efficiency.

Learning Objectives – Following the webinar, participants should be able to:

  • Identify various biosolids handling processes throughout the biosolids formation process
  • Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of the different handling processes
  • Discuss pros and cons of biosolids disposal options
  • Identify methods to control handling costs and process efficiency
