The purpose of WEF’s Collection System Committee (CSC) is to be a resource on collection system design, management, operation, and maintenance.
Our vision is recognizing that collection systems are a critical component of the public health infrastructure, the WEF Collection Systems Committee (CSC) will be a steward of the environment to protect and enhance the quality of life.
MISSION STATEMENT

Develop and promote cost-effective practices and policies in management, design, construction, operations, and maintenance.

Promote comprehensive water quality solutions including addressing issues related to overflows.

Support scientifically sound and environmentally-friendly regulatory policies by providing technical and feasible solutions and serving as advisors to policy makers.

Advance the profession through recruiting, mentoring, and developing collection system practitioners.

Educate the public and policy makers on collection system issues.

Identify and acknowledge effective tools and materials, emerging technologies, and products.

Promote collaboration withing WEF and related organizations.

Provide a forum for collection system topics.

Facilitate cooperation throughout the integrated water environment systems.
