Charities of Choice

The Water Environment Federation is pleased to recognize several nonprofit organizations that focus on philanthropic work domestically and/or in developing countries. These organizations provide services that help ensure the water environment is enhanced or preserved and that public health is protected.

These Charities of Choice strive to improve conditions "on the ground" and in communities, and provide opportunities for water professionals to volunteer their assistance. An organization’s services may be remote and/or may include sending volunteers to provide in-person assistance to improve the water environment. WEF encourages its members to volunteer their time and expertise to these organizations or contribute in other ways.
