Water Week 2022 is almost here! Water professionals from across the nation will be in Washington, DC, on April 27, 2022 for the National Water Policy Fly-In. This event is a collaboration between WEF, NACWA, WateReuse Association, and The Water Research Foundation.

This year will mark the first time in three years water professionals from around the country have been able to gather in-person to deliver the important message to national policymakers about the critical value and importance of ensuring all communities have safe, sustainable, reliable, and affordable water. While we have had many recent water sector advocacy successes, most notably enactment last year of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law with historic investments in water, there is still much work to be done. Join the water sector in letting your voice be heard by the Administration and Congress and help build upon recent momentum and further elevate water as a national priority.

Gather to network and spend the afternoon of Wednesday, April 27, with key senior EPA and other government officials and Members of Congress as they discuss major federal legislative and regulatory water policies and initiatives, including implementation of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. And cap off the day with the Water Week Reception to connect with friends and colleagues from around the country and across the water sector.

Webcast agenda items: Overview of the Fly-In and our request to Congress, instructions on setting up and having successful congressional meetings, guidance on connecting attendees with AWWA attendees to hold joint congressional meetings, and tips on social media and other ways to carry our message to a broader audience.
