There are many ways that you can help make the 11th Annual WEF Community Service Project and Water Palooza Education Day a success!
Join us on Saturday, September 29 at the Treme Recreation Community Center to help us make a difference in the WEFTEC Host Community. Volunteers will spend the day constructing a bioswale and an educational green infrastructure graphic. Transportation, lunch, and a project t-shirt are provided to all volunteers. Explore this year's site design here.
Saturday, September 29, 2018 | 9:00AM – 4:00 PM | Treme Recreation Community Center, New Orleans, LA
Volunteer buses board at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center (900 Convention Center Blvd.) at 8:30am at the Halls H/I covered drive, and will be departing by 9:00am. Buses will arrive back at the Convention Center by 4:00pm.
Registration for the WEF Community Service Project is required. To volunteer, add the “WEF Community Service Project” to your WEFTEC Registration. Contact WEF Staff, Megan Livak, with questions about registration.
Funding for the 2018 WEF Community Service Project and Water Palooza Education Day are provided entirely by donations—both monetary and material donations are needed for this year’s project. Donations help us supply physical materials required for the construction of sustainable water projects that might not happen without our involvement.
