Why did you choose to work with the water sector?
The water sector is an interesting one, full of excitement and opportunities yet it is often underappreciated. I enjoy being a part of the few that work on developing and implementing solutions to address the various challenges our communities face in a way that helps secure a sustainable future.
What insights would you like to share with others about your experiences working in the water sector?
I’ve had the opportunity to work on solutions for various challenges, from using a holistic approach to address regional water needs from multiple sources (and through seasonal changes) and developing cost-effective plans for sustainably tackling an aging infrastructure.
Additionally, my career in water has allowed me to leverage a collaborative environment to solve complex compliance needs and foster an inclusive culture that attracts, develops, and retains new talent for our industry. I have been lucky to find a career where I enjoy what I do, and I make a positive impact on the environment, the community, and colleagues.
