Water Environment Federation, Safety, Cyber and Infrastructure Security Community

The Safety, Cyber and Infrastructure Security Community develops, recommends, and conducts programs to promote general understanding of safety and security issues, and shall aid in developing and implementing a program to improve the safety record in the water quality industry.

The Safety, Cyber and Infrastructure Security Community meets annually at WEFTEC® in October.

Specific Activities of the Community 

  1. Provides a forum for safety and security issues for Federation and Member Association members through webcasts, workshops, specialty conferences, and publications.
  2. Work with other Federation Communities to ensure that safety and security issues and concerns are adequately addressed in all Federation programs.
  3. Provide technical assistance and advise policymakers on safety and security issues.
  4. Develop and assist others in developing safety and security educational materials and safety practices surveys.
