After two days packed with five mettle-testing events, Controlled Chaos from the Water Environment Association of South Carolina were named the Division 1 Operations Challenge champions.

Unlike the deadly 1918 pandemic where symptoms appeared within hours and fatalities often occurred within a few days, COVID-19 is unusually stealthy. It is able to spread undetected for many weeks before symptomatic cases begin to show up at hospitals and by then it is too late for relatively inexpensive containment measures.
This year the WEFTEC Bookstore will host two authors to sign copies of their books. Visitors also can take advantage of expert demonstrations of Access Water, the Water Environment Federation’s technical content platform. On top of that, 16 new or updated water quality titles will be on display and available for purchase.
For the first time ever, we will broadcast live from WEFTEC. This programming will give everyone, everywhere the chance to sample some of the best of WEFTEC.
We also know that not everyone who wants to join us will be able to. To help bridge that gap and provide a sense of the action happening live in Chicago, we have designed this free, open access portal.
Since 2012, the Water Environment Federation (WEF; Alexandria, Virginia) has partnered with BlueTech Research (Cork, Ireland) and Imagine H2O (San Francisco) to spotlight some of the water sector’s most promising innovators. Through this partnership, WEFTEC has become the epicenter of a unique platform for entrepreneurs, investors, customers, and regulators to highlight and access the newest technologies driving the water sector forward.
WEFTEC 2021 will host the ninth annual Operator Ingenuity Contest awards ceremony on Wednesday, October 20. The previous 8 years of this competition have led to 47 award-winning ideas. In 2021, five more entries will be added to the ranks of those who found simple, applicable solutions to make their job easier and safer.
WEFTEC 2021 will host the 34th annual Operations Challenge. This five-event competition demonstrates the precision, speed, and safety of the wastewater sector’s most elite specialists.
Technology Spotlights (formerly called Mobile Sessions) bring potential customers and partners right to your booth. Participants are in search of the next big product, service, or technology to revolutionize the way they work.
