Health and Well-being

UPDATED APRIL 15, 2022

WEF revised our masking protocols to align with the updated guidance from the CDC (March 2022). We are using COVID-19 Community Levels to determine masking protocols for WEF meetings and events based on the latest data

Wayne County, Michigan's community level is currently Low - masks are optional. WEF will continue to monitor the COVID-19 Community Levels and adjust protocols as necessary.

HEALTH AND WELL-BEING PROTOCOLS FOR COLLECTION SYSTEMS CONFERENCE 2022:

  1. Show proof of full vaccination* OR of a negative COVID-19 test result (test taken no more than 48-hours before arriving) to pick up your badge or to register onsite.

Vaccination Record Options: you can bring either a hard copy of your vaccination record or present a digital copy for verification onsite at Badge Pickup/Registration.

Acceptable COVID-19 Tests: Rapid Antigen or Rapid Molecular (PCR) viral tests, including FDA-approved at-home/self-tests, are acceptable. Results must be verified by an official medical agency/clinic or telehealth service. Antibody tests are NOT acceptable.

  1. Masks are optional - WEF strongly encourages those who are immunocompromised and those who feel comfortable wearing a mask to do so.

*The CDC defines fully vaccinated as:

  • 2 weeks after the second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or
  • 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine.

If you do not meet these requirements, you are NOT fully vaccinated. WEF recommends that you follow CDC guidance and stay up-to-date with your vaccines. Learn More.
