Developed by a joint collaboration between the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure (ISI) and the Zofnass Program for Sustainable Infrastructure at Harvard University,
the Envision™ rating system provides a holistic framework for evaluating and
rating the community, environmental, and economic benefits of all types and
sizes of infrastructure projects. This webcast will feature an
understanding of how water and wastewater utilities are using the rating system
to promote sustainability on their projects.
Bill Bertera, the Executive Director of ISI will kick off
the webcast with an overview of ISI. The structure of the Envision rating
system will be briefly summarized by Tom Pedersen before hearing case studies
from New York, California, Nebraska, and Washington state. The webcast
will close with a discussion of the activities of the Envision Task Force of
the WEF Sustainability Community of Practice and the upcoming Envision
activities at WEFTEC.
