I was looking for information on duration of mixing time for our pump mixing system. Our system has constant speed motors driving a chopper pump and the mixing is set with a timer. We have had issues with the time of mixing since start up June of 2010. The problems have been with too much mixing we have foam problems and gas in the sludge which our circulating pumps to the heatx can not handle they are centrifical. We have also had the sludge get too thick when our mixing is too low and issues with the pumps not able to pump that sludge.
