Coordinator, Web Services
The Water Environment Federation is a terrific place to work and if you are interested in assisting with the workflow management, editorial quality control, and visual approval of content within the WEF online ecosystem, this may be the job for you. Some specific responsibilities include ensuring proper Web writing and WEF style practices are followed, identifying and repairing lost links, correcting format issues, and working with stakeholders to replace outdated content. A bachelor’s degree is preferred with a minimum of two years’ related experience in Web writing and posting. Basic HTML knowledge, CMS experience, and strong computer skills required. Knowledge of the EpiServer CMS is a plus.

Join the Water Environment Federation (WEF) and manage the creative development of marketing campaigns to include conceptualizing, writing, editing and distributing printed materials and digital content used for various target audiences. Responsibilities include coordinating activities related to the timely execution of marketing plans and projects; creating integrated marketing plans to support annual conference and specialty conferences; assisting with communications efforts and distribution channels with emphasis on digital tools, social media, website information updates and leading market research efforts; and working cross-functionally with business teams to ensure campaign workflow from inception to completion.
Requirements for the position include a Bachelor’s Degree in English, Journalism, Communications or Marketing or related field of 3 -5+ years of experience; strong project manager, writing, editing, proofreading; and the ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment on many projects simultaneously. WEF is also looking for candidates with knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital media/social media; some experience with CMS databases, WordPress, or Adobe Creative Suite; and solid project management skills.
