I was asked how often MUST you acid wash sampler hoses used to sample for metals for an NPDES Stormwater program.  Can't say that I know any definitive answer based on Standard Methods or EPA documents.  I do know that it is "painful" to remove and reinstall sampler hoses set up in manholes for stormwater sampling.  Anyone willing to share their current practices on the matter?  Thanks, Keith
