In the United States, the Water Environment Federation (WEF) and its local Member Associations (MAs) across the country organize the local, state, and national Stockholm Junior Water Prize competitions with generous support from Xylem, Inc.
State winners are selected by local MAs, who also sponsor the travel for the student and the student's science teacher to attend the U.S. national competition.
