Pacific Northwest CWA 

The Pacific Northwest CWA is proud to use the "we are wef" slide shown at WEFMAX 2015 in rolling out their 2015 Strategic Plan to showcase where they are going and why.  Their Mission is dedicated to preserving and enhancing water resource in the states of Idaho, Oregon and Washington.

WEFMAX is unlike any other meeting providing the members of the House of Delegates, MA Leaders, and WEF Staff an opportunity to meet, discuss challenges, and share successes.

RMWEA has blocked a limited number of hotel rooms at the Vail Cascade with a special rate per night single/double occupancy at $109 at the lodge / $119 for preferred / $149 for the Summit / $199 for the Cascade Courtyard Suite  / $229 for the Cascade Mountain View Suite plus a resort tax of $15 [er night plus city, state, and hotel tax currently at 9.8%.  This rate is only available until 5:00 pm local time on Wednesday, May 4, 2016.  Attendees are responsible for making their own reservations by contacting the hotel directly.  No shows will be charged the contracted nightly rate for the entire reserved stay.  When making a reservation, please advise the hotel you are booking under the "Rocky Mountain Water Environment Association".

All reservations must be accompanied by a first night pre-payment of room, tax and resort charge at time of reservation using a major credit card.  In order to avoid a cancellation fee of 1 night room and tax for an individual reservation, the hotel must receive notification of cancellation no later than 5 pm, 24 hours before arrival date of the reservation.  Credit identification will be required from each individual at check-in, in order that these charges may be billed to the individual's account.  Based on availability, the hotel will offer room rates one day before and after the event.  Check-In time is 4:00 pm | Check-Out time is 11:00 am.

There will be a social gathering Wednesday at the Vail Cascade.  Local options for dinner will be available to continue the discussions and networking.  


 RMWEA will host a social event at the Minturn Country Club.  This rustic establishment is 6 miles from the resort on Main Street of Minturn, a historic railroad town.  We'll join there for a social hour and dinner - complete with salad bar, side dishes, and open flames for you to grill your steak selection! 

Denver International Airport (DEN) - A beautiful 2 hour drive through the Rocky Mountains from the hotel (120 miles)
There are reserveable shuttles from the Denver Airport, such as Colorado Mountain Express for approximately $65 each way.  Rental cars are also an option.  If you are interested in sharing a car rental with another attendees, please indicate that in your RSVP and we will work to group travelers together.  RMWEA will include a travel packet for all attendees to highlight the scenery and sites along the beautiful drive.

Temperature ranges from an average hight of 60 degrees to a night low of 31 degrees with an average of 1.9 inches of moisture for the month of May.  There's always the chance of fresh snow!
