Pacific Northwest CWA 

The Pacific Northwest CWA is proud to use the "we are wef" slide shown at WEFMAX 2015 in rolling out their 2015 Strategic Plan to showcase where they are going and why.  Their Mission is dedicated to preserving and enhancing water resource in the states of Idaho, Oregon and Washington.

WEFMAX is unlike any other meeting providing the members of the House of Delegates, MA Leaders, and WEF Staff an opportunity to meet, discuss challenges, and share successes.

RMWEA has blocked a limited number of hotel rooms at the Manor Vail Lodge with a special rate per night of $119 for Studio/1 bedroom condominiums; and $199 for an additional 2 bedroom condominium. plus a resort tax of $15 per night plus city, state, and hotel tax currently at 9.8%.  This rate is only available until 5:00 pm local time on Tuesday, April 26, 2016.  Group Code: G16RMW. Attendees are responsible for making their own reservations by contacting the hotel directly.  No shows will be charged the contracted nightly rate for the entire reserved stay.  When making a reservation, please advise the hotel you are booking under the "Rocky Mountain Water Environment Association".

All reservations must be accompanied by a first night pre-payment of room, tax and resort charge at time of reservation using a major credit card.  In order to avoid a cancellation fee of 1 night room and tax for an individual reservation, the hotel must receive notification of cancellation no later than 5 pm, 7 days before arrival date of the reservation.  The hotel will offer the discounted room rates three days after the event based on availability. Check-In time is 5 pm and Check-Out time is 11 am.

THURSDAY HOST SOCIAL: 
 RMWEA will host a social event at the Minturn Country Club.  This rustic establishment is 6 miles from the resort on Main Street of Minturn, a historic railroad town.  We'll join there for a social hour and dinner - complete with salad bar, side dishes, and open flames for you to grill your steak selection! 


 
AIRPORT OPTIONS:  
Denver International Airport (DEN) - A beautiful 2 hour drive through the Rocky Mountains from the hotel (120 miles)
 
SHUTTLE/CAR RENTAL:
There are reserveable shuttles from the Denver Airport, such as Colorado Mountain Express for approximately $65 each way.  Rental cars are also an option.  If you are interested in sharing a car rental with another attendees, please indicate that in your RSVP and we will work to group travelers together.  RMWEA will include a travel packet for all attendees to highlight the scenery and sites along the beautiful drive.

WEATHER: 
Temperature ranges from an average hight of 60 degrees to a night low of 31 degrees with an average of 1.9 inches of moisture for the month of May.  There's always the chance of fresh snow!
