WEF is pleased to be a partner for the American Water Works Association (AWWA) 2012 Sustainable Water Management Conference.  In this capacity, WEF was invited by AWWA to develop a technical session focusing on green infrastructure for their upcoming Sustainable Water Management Conference.  The conference will focus on large-scale sustainability issues related to water supply and management topics such as water conservation; urban planning and design; and sustainable utilities, infrastructure, and communities. For further information on the technical program or to register please click here

Online Technical Program

Hosted by the American Water Works Association, the 2012 Sustainable Water Management Conference will be a true sustainability conference focused on water resources integration. This conference seeks to combine technical presentations with in-depth discussions on legal, regulatory, and legislative matters facing water utilities today.   

The conference will address a wide range of topics concerning sustainable water management, including managing water resources and the environment, water conservation, sustainable utilities and infrastructure, urban planning and design, and community sustainability.

Opening General Session will kick off with the Keynote Speaker, Brian Fagan, author of Elixir. He will speak about the importance of careful management of water supplies to enable a sustainable future for today’s societies.
