Simplifying Water Sector Intelligence: Meet the Water Investment Navigator

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Sept. 15, 2025 – The Water Environment Federation (WEF) and Global Water Intelligence (GWI) are partnering to launch the Water Investment Navigator (WIN), a new intelligence platform that simplifies access to public data across the North American water sector.

Solving the Sector’s Data Challenge

Utility documents are often buried in static formats and spread across tens of thousands of municipal websites, creating a fragmented and inconsistent data environment. This makes it time-consuming and resource-intensive for suppliers to identify, access, and pursue infrastructure projects.

WIN addresses this challenge by automatically surfacing and organizing public documents as soon as they’re published, allowing users to immediately analyze them and act on key insights.

Built for Smarter Business Development

WIN provides seamless access to capital improvement plans, state revolving fund applications, and municipal decisions. The WIN dashboard helps users quickly find and interpret the data that matters most.

By surfacing upcoming capital expenditures and mapping contract awards to winning bidders, the platform helps users strategize and identify potential partners.

AI is used to extract and categorize information, with confidence scores provided when resources are matched. All data in WIN is traceable to its original source, and manual quality checks ensure reliability for critical business decisions.
