"WEF Membership as well as our MA membership provides training towards the necessary learning we need to keep up with the times."
Why did you choose to work within the water sector?
Actually, I feel I have always done things in the water sector, from growing up on a farm, plumber/millwright, Water Operator, Wastewater Operator to my current position of Wastewater Supt.
What insights would you like to share with others about your experiences working in water?
Working in this field gives me great satisfaction that staff and I recycle the water that the dinosaurs drank for our future kids and grandkids to enjoy and use, which is more valuable than any other commodity.
How long have you been a WEF member and, what WEF Member Benefit has made the most impact on your career?
I've been a WEF Member for over 30 years and the constant need for learning excites me as our field changes. WEF Membership as well as our MA membership provides training towards the necessary learning we need to keep up with the times and especially the great fellow friends and comrades gained from networking. From my involvement with the WEF House of Delegates to committees and work groups I have been part of, I'm proud to be a WEF/NWEA member.
