The Collection Systems Specialty Conference Committee has also had to adapt as our conferences have moved into the virtual space. Taking all the lessons we’ve learned over the last months, we are in the midst of preparing for the upcoming 2021 Collection Systems Virtual Event. Even through the difficult months of this past year, it is inspiring to see all our water professionals come together to plan, contribute and be ready to participate in this event. 

We have scheduled eight virtual technical sessions over three days from March 23-25 allowing you to earn the continuing education credits you need. You can view the entire technical program here. These sessions will provide the variety you are accustomed to seeing from WEF with topics such as innovation, data and analytics, rehabilitation, infiltration and inflow, wet weather issues and more.  Being virtual, there is the increased benefit of affordability. Since there is no need to travel, you can enjoy the benefit of attending the conference from the comfort of your own workspace! We’re hoping to see more attendees and we’ve set each session near the lunch hour for water professionals across North America.

Additionally, there will be a virtual preconference workshop on March 18 from noon  to 3:30 p.m. ET that will help attendees expand their knowledge of smart flow monitoring and data analytics to drive effective sewer system management. This cutting-edge content will be sure to keep you on the edge of your seat! Each session will have a time slot allowing participants to join either live or stream a pre-recorded session while the speakers answer questions in the chat.
