We are very excited to connect with you at WEF’s newest conference, Innovations in Process Engineering 2021 (WIPE) Virtual Event. This conference has been discussed excitedly amongst friends for years! And with the challenges of the past year, it is more important than ever to remain connected to the exciting work performed by our talented colleagues.

This event, to be held on June 9-10 and June 15-16 is curated to maximize the knowledge transfer through presentations addressing cutting-edge research, design, and operation by some of the brightest academic, utility, consulting, and industrial minds in our field.

The technical program addresses all phases of technology, including topics around process technology, the development of emerging technology, the modeling and design of those processes, and process development and adoption. We are particularly excited about the Technology Spotlights, which highlights some of the newest technologies and the practical considerations for implementation.

In fact, the whole program is timely, engaging, and relevant -- and there are no concurrent sessions so that you can attend everything.  Attendees often struggle at in-person conferences to find those sessions that get straight to the meat of process engineering and treatment technology topics that they care about and are relevant for their utility, consulting firm, university, or technology.  We are confident that will not be the case here.

Additionally, this event will provide an opportunity to honor and remember our dear colleague and friend, Professor David Stensel, who passed away unexpectedly in March. He was the chair of this inaugural WIPE conference, and his contributions to the field and this event are invaluable.

Technology in our field is developing at an incredible pace, and COVID has not slowed that down. The WIPE 2021 Virtual Event provides an excellent opportunity to discuss the most interesting treatment technologies and process engineering concepts.  Please take a moment to review the technical program; We are sure it will entice you to join us this year virtually.
