Conference co-chairmen Val S. Frenkel and Bob English blog about water reuse and public health
As a co-chairmen of the upcoming WEF Disinfection and Reuse Symposium 2018 in “Rip City” Portland, Ore., we are proud to lead this outstanding event, which has already attracted national attention from across the United States.
Through technologies development we are living in the world when Direct and Indirect Potable Reuse (DPR and IPR) became not just dreams, but realities. The current level of water reuse allows preservation of natural sources by reducing water withdraw from the natural sources; on the other hand, the reuse water must be safe for the public. This Symposium is the first professional event which merges reuse water quantity with reuse water quality, bringing the best industry experts together to share knowledge, experience, lessons learned, challenges, and needs in future research and development.
Those interested to know what “One Water” means won’t want to miss this event! We look forward to seeing you at the Symposium in Portland, Ore., July 29-31, 2018!
