On Saturday, Sept. 21, a large group of volunteers spent their day installing permeable pavers, a rain garden, and other green infrastructure elements at the Maria Saucedo Scholastic Academy in Chicago. The WEF Community Service Project, organized by the WEF Students and Young Professionals Committee, will alleviate flooding and allow students safe passage to school as well as provide students and community with stormwater educational components.
