I am interested in any efforts/studies/monitoring being used by POTWs to address issues (odor, corrosion, etc.) associated with sulfide and sulfate.  Electronic reports would be great if available.  My organization has not yet dedicated significant resources to the topic, but we may be shortly.  Just trying to get a feel for what others are doing, how they are doing it, and which approaches are working.

My utility utilizes contracted handling of odor control installations.  We use US Filter.  They install scrubbers, chemical feed, etc. as they find necessary or on our request or recommendation.  They also supply chemicals and regulate the feed of same.  If I have an odor complaint from a citizen, I just call the US F rep and he handles the adjustment of the feed equipment.  Not cheap, but really easy.
