Failing Nitrate Standards Rate Topic Display Mode Topic Options Author Message Kavita Posted 5/17/2007 11:13:03 AM Forum Newbie Group: Forum Members Last Login: 3/25/2008 1:12:40 PM Posts: 6, Visits: 12 We are using the Hach Nitrate cadmium reduction method for nitrate analysis along with the Nitrate nitrogen standard solution. We have never gotten the standard solution to pass. We tried different dilutions and shaking for various times. 2 minute and 3 min shaking times actually gave us the same result.
