The QS30AFF400 foreground suppression sensor and the QS30AF600 background suppression sensor use advanced linear imager technology to provide a sensing solution for various industrial applications, including part-in-place detection, feeder-bowl control, and package detection on conveyors. As part of the WORLD-BEAM® QS30 family, the sensors provide a larger detection range with less color sensitivity. The sensors are designed to be resistant to mechanical shock and vibration, enabling advanced image processing to maximize the range and minimize the effects of target color. Available in a waterproof epoxy encapsulated housing, the sensors are suitable for use in harsh environments. Other sensor features include precise and repeatable switch-point performance, enhanced immunity to fluorescent lights and crosstalk of nearby sensors, and four-turn potentiometer or remote teach input to set the switch-point distance. The Eco Smart Station, designed to provide a safe, simple, energy-efficient solution for optimum pump control in municipal lift-station applications, uses the latest microprocessor-based controller with color touch screen, data storage, and communication technology. Available in 29 models, the pre-engineered solution is powered by kW Logix™ Software. The system is housed in the multiple-compartment design of the ARC ARMOR™ to reduce the risk of injury from electric shock and exposure to arc flash. The touch screen has the ability to provide level control, pump alternation, flow monitoring, data and alarm logging, and historical trending. It comes equipped with a memory card for data storage and download. It also can connect through multiple communication streams for remote monitoring and control. Best Controls Co. HP series butterfly valves are available in sizes 2 to 12 in. With pressure ratings up to 285 lb/in.2 for 150-class and 740 lb/in.2 for 300-class valves, the series offers advanced seat design, which provides a bidirectional interference and pressure-assisted seal. The body is available in carbon or stainless steel with wafer or lugged flanged-end connections.
