Gas Flowmeter
The Venturi Flowmeter with Magnehelic® Gage is designed to measure the flow of compatible gases while keeping the pressure drop through the meter at a minimum. Units are made of aluminum and available in line sizes from 1 to 4 in. The meter can handle vacuum and pressure applications and flows ranging from 20 to 620 standard ft3/min. Dwyer Instruments Inc. (Michigan City, Ind.).

Water Recycling
Innovator Series products use electrocoagulation and chemical treatment to remove emulsified oils, heavy solids, and metals from a range of wastestreams found in industrial washing applications. Four products in the Innovator Series include the EC2-20A for suspended solids, the CoAg2-20A for industrial wastewater, the Indexing Polishing Filter for pre- or post-treatment, and the Clean Water Recycle Module for managing influent or effluent flow. The systems are modular and can be used individually or together. Water Maze (Camas, Wash.).

Effluent Flowmeter
The Ultra Mag Flowmeter is an electromagnetic sensing instrument designed for in-line installation. It delivers flow measurement accuracy of ±0.5% in effluent, with repeatability of 0.05% of actual flow for reliable operation. Designed for 2- to 48-in. lines, the meter measures flow from 0.2 to 49 ft/s at pressures up to 300 lb/in.2, depending on the selected pipe size and flange configuration. McCrometer (Hemet, Calif.).

Filter Cartridges
Nano-Key™ filter cartridges provide wastewater filtration by utilizing nanofiber technology to filter through electroadhesion and mechanical processes. The cartridges, which feature ceramic nanofibers on a microglass matrix, reduce concentrations of viruses, bacteria, cysts, endotoxins, and other submicron particles. Cartridges come in 2.75- or 4.5-in.-diameter. Keystone Filter (Hatfield, Pa.).

Pump Controller
The Bell & Gossett Technologic® 502 variable-speed pump controller is a pump system for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning and pressure-booster applications. The controller, with its adjustable frequency drive, can control up to four parallel pumps and contribute to LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification. ITT (White Plains, N.Y.).

The Super Shredder® in-line disintegrator reduces solids in sludge or untreated wastewater lines. The system is designed for applications requiring a heavy-duty size-reduction processor that can handle high flows with minimal headloss. The disintegrator is provided with an S-250 autoreversing control system. Franklin Miller Inc. (Livingston, N.J.).

The Level Troll 200 is a direct-read cable for monitoring and logging water level and pressure, as well as temperature. The Level Troll features corrosion resistance, flexible communications, low power consumption, and a durable direct-read cable. It is chemical- and corrosion-resistant for use in saltwater and other harsh environments. In-Situ Inc. (Fort Collins, Colo.).

Reverse Osmosis System
The Deluxe HighPure RO Commercial–Industrial reverse osmosis system is designed to solve water problems in ingredient water, high-purity rinsewater, boiler feedwater, ion-exchange pretreatment, lab and analytical testing, drip irrigation, and community water vending. Systems are designed for 1800 to 12,240 gal/d and include a continuous digital total dissolved solids meter, automated control, status lights, and digital error codes. Pentair Water Commercial & Industrial Purity Solutions (Golden Valley, Minn.).
