Cities of the Future 2010 brought together a diverse group of practitioners, researchers and policy-makers who share a vision of an improved urban landscape for future generations. The conference hosted interdisciplinary discussion required to create sustainable urban infrastructure that will meet the challenges of the 21st century and the interdependent engineered and natural systems that will characterize Cities of the Future.
The joint opening session included an interactive panel discussion and several keynote presentations. Slides from the joint Closing General Session for the Cities of the Future and the Urban River Restoration Conferences are provided as a summary of conference themes and discussions. Also, continue the discussion or pose a question at WEF’s blog about the conference, “Catching the Sustainability Buzz in Boston.”
Proceedings were delivered to attendees at the conference and are now available for purchase after the conference is over. To purchase and/or view all WEF conference proceedings, click here.
