I get FOG coming in with the influent that is so thick and heavy my operations folks have to spend 8 to 12 hours a day manually skimming it off of the primary clarifiers influent channels and effluent skiimers or else the floating grease in the clarifiers gets so thick that it makes the collector flights drive chain jump it's guide sprockets causing a massive failure. Has anyone else encountered a similar problem and how did you deal with it?
