  <description><![CDATA[<root><p>An Alkalinity test has been requested on one of our indirect dischargers. The sample pH is less than 4.3 S.U.  How does one measure for alkalinity when the pH is below the adjusted pH required by the test?  Should the lab then measure for acidity?</p>
