I don't see it on the website, but a web search of the ISBN will give you several options in used versions.
http://www.valorebooks.com/Search/ISBN/1893664031
My biggest concern (at least not sludge yet) is that operators do not realize how toxic some of these can be and that they can impart toxicity to effluent at the same time they take it out.

Environmental fate of polymers

Does anybody know about any comprehensive studies on the environmental fate of polymers?Generally we tend to use so little we forget about it but what about where we might be regularly disposing of biosolids at the same spot etc , can they bio-accumulate or cause other problems. Obviously different polymers will react differently in the environment due to different "operating" characteristics and chemical make up.

I have seen the BOD of one water treatment poly listed as 24000mg/l. Others are listed as slightly or non-biodegradable.

Regards

TerryF
