Job Description:
Will provide leadership of the marketing efforts for an established water and wastewater program in Missouri and Eastern Kansas, primarily focused on municipal clients. The position coordinates with other business group marketing leaders to maximize cross-business group marketing and reports to the water business group leader. Will serve as a senior level marketer, responsible for market development and ensuring maximum exposure to new and existing business prospects for the firm. Will be responsible for developing strategic and marketing plans. Develop client and major pursuit plans as well as manage fee goals and marketing budgets.
Broad duties include working with Project Managers to maximize exposure to existing clients, identifying and targeted marketing of public and private sector clients requiring water and wastewater planning and design consulting services. Detailed duties include developing leads, pre-proposal visitations, and proposal preparation coordination with technical staff, and presentations. Will work with Project Managers throughout the life cycle of the project to assure client satisfaction. Assist in recruiting key marketing and technical (seller/doer) staff.
Provide project management and technical support to projects.
Experience Required:
This position requires a Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 10 years of experience in Water/Wastewater, along with experience in marketing. Past public works experience is a plus.
