Objective
The goal of Water Practice™ is to provide water professionals with quality, applied studies on all aspects of water quality and wastewater management. The journal will serve as a venue for communicating new strategies and technologies, as well as the modification and optimization of existing practices. A detailed statement of purpose is found in the Inaugural Editorial.
WEF Conferences
WEFTEC® and the WEF specialty conferences represent important outlets for the water industry and its associated fields. Water Practice issues will consist primarily of work drawn from recent WEF conferences. Presentation at the specific WEF conference is necessary- but not sufficient- for submission and consideration in the related issue. Occasionally, special issues will be developed around topics for which a WEF conference does not exist. For more information on submission, see the Author Guidelines.
Peer Review
All Water Practice articles are peer reviewed anonymously by experts in the field. The peer review process for Water Practice is independent of the review process used by WEF conferences and all submissions are evaluated on their own merits, regardless of the presentations made at these conferences. A special Issue Editor (or Issue Co-Editors) will make the final decision on publication. For more information on peer review in Water Practice, see the Peer Review page.
Subscription
Access to the full content of the journal will be available at no charge through December 2007. For information on subscribing to the journal in 2008, please contact WEF customer service at 1-800-666-0206.
