WEF Stormwater Seminar

WEF will host a two-day seminar focusing on stormwater fundamentals to be held during the 97th NJWEA Annual Conference in Atlantic City, NJ this May.

 

Two-Day Stormwater Seminar Program (PDF)

 

This two-day seminar will provide a basic overview of temporary and post-construction stormwater management.  Day 1 will introduce participants to technical and regulatory aspects of the topic, why stormwater matters, and what makes it a rising topic in the water sector today.  Day 2 will focus on practical applications in the field through a review of Best Management Practices and a series of case studies to illustrate the type of stormwater projects that professionals tackle in the field.  This seminar will discuss hot topics in the Mid-Atlantic and across the nation on stormwater, including Chesapeake and Barnegat Bay issues as well as the upcoming National Stormwater Rulemaking.  Other topics covered include erosion and sediment control, stormwater program challenges, and wet weather issues.
