**Registration for WEFMAX in Charleston is now closed. 
Due to the large number of MA Leaders attending WEFMAX in Charleston, the Francis Marion Hotel has Sold Out of rooms.  Hotel rooms overall in the local area are at a premium with regard to availablity and price.  Please consider attending the North Bonneville, WA meeting held April 6-8 or the Montreal, Quebec meeting in May 4-6.


The Water Environment Association of South Carolina welcomes you to WEFMAX in Charleston!

The WEASC has blocked a limited number of hotel rooms at the Francis Marion Hotel with a special rate per night of $179 single/double.

This rate is only available until 5:00 pm on Tuesday, March 21, 2006. Attendees are responsible for making their own reservations by contacting the hotel directly. When making a reservation, please advise the hotel you are attending the “Water Environment Federation Meeting.”

All reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card. Cancellations must be made 7 days in advance prior to arrival in order to avoid penalty and guest must obtain a cancellation number.  For those guests who would like to
stay at the hotel longer, this rate will be honored
    
two days prior and two days following the scheduled event date. Credit identification will be required from each individual at check-in, in order that these charges may be billed to the individual’s account. All rates are subject to state and local taxes (currently at 12%) and are subject to change. After check-in, any individual guest departing prior to their departure date will be charged an early departure fee of 50% of the room rate plus sales tax, which currently totals 6%. Check-in time is 4:00 pm and check-out time is 12:00 Noon.

Parking: Valet parking is available for $17.00 + tax per night and can be added to the guest room folio. A $12.00 fee is charged for self parking and must be paid directly to the parking garage in cash.

Weather: Temperature averages in March range from a daytime high of 73, to a night low of 59 degrees with an average of 3.83 “ of rain.
