WEF Specialty Conferences
WEF holds a series of Specialty Conferences focusing on the latest technology and trends in the water quality field. These two- to three-day conferences attract more than 3,000 attendees annually. These conferences are a perfect vehicle for networking and learning valuable information from your colleagues. Some include exhibits, and all offer CEU credits and/or contact hours.
Technical Manuals and Books

Our Technical and Educational Services staff is dedicated to ensuring that WEF members are able to find the information needed on today's issues. A literature search of appropriate WEF publications can be done to find articles, conference papers, and texts, which are relevant to the research query. Research requests must be sent in writing via e-mail at techinq@wef.org or fax at 703-684-2492. There are some minimal fees associated with this service. In addition, you may post your problem/question in the Technical Discussion Group area online or call 1-800-666-0206 or 1-703-684-2452 for assistance.
WEF offers Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for successful completion of Federation training workshops and seminars. Through joint projects with Environment Canada, the Association of Boards of Certification, and other organizations, WEF publishes certification study guides, audio-visual training courses for both entry- and advanced-level training, and other materials.
