| WEF’s Collection System Committee’s (CSC) purpose is to be a resource on collection system design, management, operation, and maintenance. The WEF CSC meets twice annually - once at WEFTEC® in October and once at the Midyear Meeting in early February - and has numerous active and ongoing projects.

- Support scientifically sound and environmentally-friendly regulatory policies by providing technical assistance and serving as advisors to policy makers.
- Advance the industry through recruiting, mentoring, and developing collection system professionals.
- Educate collection system professionals, public, and policy makers on industry issues.
- Identify and acknowledge effective tools, emerging technologies, and work products.
- Promote partnerships with related organizations.
- Provide a forum for collection system issues.
