Photographer

Corporations employ photographers to create and maintain a visual record of their progress, to help promote their image, and for employee relations. A photographer for a water agency may:

  • photograph new construction, reservoir, dam, or other projects;
  • take photos of employees, managers, and facilities for company newsletters, brochures, annual reports, press releases, community outreach activities and performance awards;
  • provide photographs to journalists for news articles.
Education: No special education required.
Certificates, licenses: No
Desirable traits and skills: Visual, creative person who can work independently, meet deadlines and unusual working hours, and put others at ease.
