LIFT: A Toolbox for Member Associations (1:15 - 1:30 pm)

The Leaders innovation Forum for Technology (LIFT) is a multi-pronged initiative undertaken by WEF and WERF to help bring in new water technology to the field quickly and efficiently. LIFT brings together the best scientific minds and industry specialists to accelerate adoption of innovative technologies. WERF is working on creating a LIFT toolbox for Member Associations so that they can get more involved with the LIFT initiative.

WEF is moving into another exciting WEFMAX year in 2016. Hosts from the Florida WEA, Pennsylvania WEA, Illinois WEA, and the Rocky Mountain WEA are busy planning for their event. Each host will give a promotional brief to showcase WEFMAX in their local area and to include how they are working to incorporate further networking and sharing with the MA Leader attendees!

An update on the release of the Value of Water Coalition's new toolkit and education campaign materials: "What's the Value of Water?" was provided.

Matt provided an update on the Board Task Force's recommendations for enhancing and standardizing MA Presented awards.
Stormwater Institute (2:30 - 3:00 pm)

WEF's Stormwater Initiative has grown rapidly in recent years, culminating in the launch of the WEF Stormwater Institute at WEFTEC 2015. An update will be provided on WEF Stormwater resources, the Institute, and opportunities for MA engagement. Time will be scheduled for leaders to share their stormwater success and challenges from the MA perspective.
