FENASAN Brazil 2014

30 July – 1 August | Blue Hall Expo Centre Norte
Sao Paulo, Brazil

Overview

The Brazilian government’s goal is to provide sanitation coverage to all Brazilians.
The amount of investments required to reach this objective is $89 billion 2020.
About 30% will be used for replacing old infrastructure. There are many
opportunities that are arising for solutions related to water distribution
systems since the water loss rate in Brazil corresponds to about 40% of the
potable water produced in the urban areas. Additionally, water reuse is becoming
increasingly important in Brazil, especially in the large centers where water
scarcity represents high operational costs for water impounding and adduction.
There is also increasing demand for effluent treatment and energy/water saving
technologies. The opportunities in this market are endless. FENASAN 2014 is the
premier show in Brazil and will be essential for any company interested in
pursuing opportunities in this market.
