Convention Center and Hotel Information: The 2008 National Monitoring Conference will be held at the Atlantic City Convention Center. The conference hotel is the Sheraton Atlantic City Convention Center hotel, a non-gaming facility off of the boardwalk within walking distance of many attractions and restaurants.
A block of sleeping rooms has been reserved at the rate of $114/night plus tax for single or double occupancy. To book your hotel room, please utilize Sheraton's online booking tool or call their reservations department directly. When making your reservation, reference the WEF Monitoring Conference housing block. The cut off date for reserving your room is April 26, 2008. Remember to book early to ensure your place in the hotel.

By Air The Atlantic City Airport is located just minutes from the city and offers shuttle, taxi and rental car transportation. The Philadelphia International Airport is a quick 60-minute drive via the Atlantic City Expressway or a relaxing inexpensive train ride on the NJ Transit System.
Please note: trains to Atlantic City depart from Philadelphia's 30th Street Station. If you choose to fly to Philadelphia and take the train from Philadelphia to Atlantic City, take into consideration the time and expense of getting from the airport to the train station. The Philadelphia International Airport is located approximately 7.5 miles from the 30th Street Station. Taxi fare between the airport and the station is approximately $27 one-way, or take the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority's (SEPTA) high speed rail line R1 from airport terminals A-East, B, C, D, or E directly to the 30th Street Station for only $7 one-way. For more information about ground transportation options between Philadelphia International Airport and Philadelphia's 30th Street Station, please visit the airport's website.
By Train NJ Transit Rail runs direct from Philadelphia's 30th Street Station. A one-way trip between Philadelphia and Atlantic City currently costs $8/adult, $3.50/seniors, children, & disabled. One-way and round-trip tickets may be purchased on board the train. However, if the ticket office is open or a Ticket Vending Machine (TVM) is available, there will be a $5.00 surcharge per person including children (except senior/disabled tickets). The trip takes between 90 minutes to 100 minutes. Download timetables and view detailed fare information/restrictions. The Atlantic City rail station adjoins the Convention Center.
By Land From the North major interstate highways connect with the Garden State Parkway South, to the Atlantic City Expressway.
From the South I-95 to Delaware Memorial Bridge to Route 40 to Route 322. Or via Lewes, Delaware, take the Cape May-Lewes Ferry to the Garden State Parkway North to the Atlantic City Expressway.
From the West Via Philadelphia, Walt Whitman Bridge to North-South Freeway to Atlantic City Expressway.
