The webcast covered a broad range of security and safety elements aimed at increasing awareness and understanding of the need for preparedness in the workplace. Featured speakers representing various specialties of the safety industry promoted a multifaceted approach towards safety, security and occupational health as it pertains to the environmental industry. Vulnerability assessment tools, costs associated with safety and workers compensation violations, workforce changes, employer and employee responsibility, reducing risk through design, and long term planning strategies for addressing risk are just a few topics that were covered.
