Stormwater Utility Seminar

The need for funding across the water sector continues to be a challenging topic, and while water/wastewater utilities have a long track record of well-grounded funding systems, the topic of user-based fee structures to pay for stormwater collection and management is a developing and dynamic field.  To support this growing and evolving need, WEF is hosting a one-day seminar focusing on various aspects of stormwater utility management.  Specific topics that will be covered include:

  • Regulatory updates on stormwater (from U.S. EPA)
  • Technical aspects of fee development
  • Public outreach in stormwater utility feasibility analyses
  • Planning considerations for fee-based structures
  • Legal trends on stormwater utilities across the country
  • Legislative updates on stormwater utilities at the state level

Registration Deadline

The last day to register in Advance is July 20, 2011. After this date you must register onsite at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be submitted on company letterhead with a detailed explanation by 07/20/2011. A 25% administrative fee will be deducted from all refunds. Registrants who fail to notify WEF of cancellation by 07/20/2011, are responsible for the full registration fee.
