Continuing Education and Training Opportunities for Wastewater Personnel

  • Continuing Education Credit Information
    WEF offers Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for successful completion of its training programs, workshops, and seminars in the water quality field.

     
  • WEF's Knowledge Center
    Learn at your own pace. All you need is an internet connection. WEF offers online training courses ranging from wastewater treatment fundamentals to emerging issues in the industry. Upon successful completion of the course and passing score of 70% or higher on the final exam, participants will received a personalized official Certifcate of Completion with recommended Continuing Education Units (CEUs).

     
  • WEFTEC - the Water Quality Event
    Earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs), Professional Development Hours (PDHs) and contact hours by attending WEFTEC workshops and technical sessions.

     
  • WEF Conferences
    WEF offers targeted, topic-specifc conferences throughout the year. Each Specialty Conference is dedicated to a specific topic of interest to the water quality community.

     
  • WEF Webcasts
    Save time and money on travel by attending a topic-specific WEF webcast from your own office. Professional Development Hours (PDHs) may be earned for participating in a webcast. Please note that participants are responsible for exploring their state requirments to have their educational credits approved for credit.

  • National Environmental Training Center for Small Communities
    The National Environmental Training Center for Small Communities (NETCSC) through U.S. EPA funding, assists small communities with training materials, information, and referral services in areas of wastewater and drinking water.
