Tyler Richards is a 2005-2006 member of the Board of Trustees for the Water Environment Federation (WEF), an international organization of water quality professionals headquartered in Alexandria, Va.
She is currently Director of Water Reclamation for Gwinnett County, Georgia. In that capacity, Tyler manages a division that treats wastewater for the 73% of citizens who are on the county sewer system. Prior to her current position, Tyler was Public Works Manager for the City of Atlanta where she had responsibility for three wastewater treatment plants. |

A WEF member since 1983, she has served on several committees including Technical Practice and Utility Management.
In addition, she has been an active member of the Georgia Water and Pollution Control Association (GW&PCA), has authored several publications, and makes regular presentations at water quality conferences.
A recipient of several WEF awards, including the prestigious George Bradley Gascoigne Medal (1991), Significant Operation Contribution Award (1991), Arthur Sidney Bedell Award (1995) and Charles H. Jones Award (2001), Tyler received an M.S. in environmental engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and B.A. in biology from Rollins College. | |
