Tracy Stigers is a 2005-2006 member of the Board of Trustees for the Water Environment Federation (WEF), an international organization of water quality professionals headquartered in Alexandria, Va.
She is currently Vice President at Brown and Caldwell Consulting Engineers. In that capacity, Tracy serves as the municipal services and wastewater leader for Brown and Caldwell’s Western Business Unit. She is also the Joint Venture manager for the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission Wastewater Master Plan and oversees a large digester upgrade project for the East Bay Municipal Utilities District in Oakland, Calif. |

A WEF member since 1980, Tracy has served on the WEF Program Committee from 1992-1998 and again from 2000 through the present. She currently serves as the chair of the Program Committee’s Residuals and Biosolids Symposium and has served on WEF’s Awards Committee since 2000. In 2005, she was co-chair of the WEF Technology conference held in San Francisco, Calif.
In addition, she is also a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the American Water Works Association (AWWA).
A 2005 recipient of WEF's prestigious Arthur Sidney Bedell Award, Tracy received a B.S. in civil and environmental engineering from Clarkson University and a M.S. in environmental engineering science from the California Institute of Technology. She has participated on Clarkson’s Engineering Advisory Council since 1994 and is a registered Professional Engineer in California and Hawaii. | |
