Rick Corbett is a 2005-2006 member of the Board of Trustees for the Water Environment Federation (WEF), an international organization of water quality professionals headquartered in Alexandria, Va.
He is currently the Vice-President of Environmental Engineering for Associated Engineering. In that capacity, Rick directs the environmental engineering activities across the company and in particular, provides input into water and wastewater planning and concept development to clients in Canada and overseas. |

In his 28 years with Associated Engineering, his career has spanned both water and wastewater engineering, as a designer, project engineer, project manager and specialist. Prior to his current position, Rick worked with the waterfowl conservation organization, Duck Unlimited, as a water resources engineer at a number of locations around British Columbia.
A WEF member since 1979, Rick currently serves on the Federation’s House of Delegates.
In addition, he has been an active member of the British Columbia Water & Waste Association (BCWWA), serving as president and on the Technical Planning Committee as a member, co-chair and chair.
A member of BCWWA’s Select Society of Sanitary Sludge Shovelers and a 2005 recipient of BCWWA’s personal recognition award, Rick received a B.S. in civil engineering and M.S. in environmental engineering from the University of British Columbia. | |
