Ron Moeller is a member of the 2007-2008 Board of Trustees for the Water Environment Federation (WEF), an international organization of water quality professionals headquartered in Alexandria, Va.
He is currently Operations Specialist for Kennedy/Jenks Consultants in Federal Way, Washington. In this role, Ron is responsible for operability design reviews, treatment plant audits and optimization, start-up training, troubleshooting, condition assessments, writing O&M manuals, and staffing evaluations. Prior to joining Kennedy/Jenks, he was wastewater treatment plant lead operator for the City of Chehalis, Wash. and wastewater superintendent for the City of St. Helena, Calif. |
A WEF member since 1996, Ron currently serves on the Long Range Planning Committee and Membership Committee. He has also served on the Nominating Committee and as WEF Director of the Federation’s Member Association, the Pacific Northwest Clean Water Association (PNCWA), from 2002-2005.
In addition to serving as the WEF Director, Ron has served as PNCWA’s Regional Director, Vice President, President-Elect, and is currently serving as President. A 2002 recipient of WEF’s Hatfield Award, Ron is a Group IV wastewater treatment plant operator in Washington and Arizona; a Grade II wastewater treatment plant operator in California and Grade III wastewater treatment plant operator in Oregon. He is a member of PNCWA’s Select Society of Sanitary Sludge Shovelers.
